Christina – Owner

Christina Migliara was born and raised in Ocala, Fl. She has a PhD in General Psychology, Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and multiple state and national level certifications related to mental health. Christina is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, a USAW Level 1 Coach, and has been CrossFitting for 6 years. She is the owner of Coastwise Mediation and Therapy and CrossFit Tailwinds. Christina is married with 2 boys and a dog. Her favorite hobbies include traveling and cooking.

Amy – Head Coach and Operations Manager

Amy was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  She moved to  Tampa FL when she was 10 with her 3 siblings and parents for 17 years before moving to Jacksonville with her husband, Chris. She started gymnastics at the age of 5 eventually attending the University of Florida where she competed as a D1 gymnast while getting her Bachelors of Science in Marketing. Amy has been doing CrossFit for 7 years and is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.  Amy has two cats who are her babies. Her hobbies include helping locals TNR stray cats, spending time at the beach traveling to Spain any chance she gets.

Matt – Coach

Matthew Theilacker was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. He spent 8 years in the Army, and then pursued education in the aeronautical field at Embry-Riddle as well as in the medical field. Matthew is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, holds several medical certifications, and has been doing CrossFit for 1 1/2 years. Matthew has a German Shepard. His hobbies include cooking, playing guitar, making people laugh, drinking nitro cold brew coffee, and telling people random facts that are clearly proven on Wikipedia.

Katie – Coach

Katie Dingler is originally from Michigan but grew up in Orange Park, Florida. She received her BS degree in Exercise Physiology and has worked in the fitness and coaching industry for over 15 years. Katie is currently a 6th grade math teacher and CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. Her hobbies are working out, running, biking, dog sitting, and spending time with family and friends.

Sean – Coach

Sean Hutchinson was born and raised in Palatka, FL where he got an early start into strength and conditioning by participating in Florida High School Weightlifting where he qualified for the Florida State Finals. He secured the silver medal in his weight class after matching the gold medalist in total but losing out on body weight and eventually representing Team USA.  Sean attended LSU-Shreveport, where he earned a Bachelors degree in Community Health. In 2012 he earned his Level 1 CrossFit Certification (and Level 2 CrossFit Certification in 2017) He is now currently Pursuing his Journeyman Electrician Certification through the Electrical Training Alliance of Jacksonville while coaching part-time at CrossFit Tailwinds!

Favorite CrossFit Moment

My favorite moment was when I finally convinced my wife (girlfriend at the time) to do a partner/team competition with me and some friends from the gym in DC. It was the hottest most miserable day of workouts ever but it was amazing watching her grit and determination throughout the day. She’s a constant reminder in my life that no matter how tough life gets you have to suck it up and push through it.

Jean Kleber – Coach

Jean Kleber is from Bradenton, FL, but moved to the Jacksonville area after living in South Jersey for over a decade. She has a BS in Psychology and an MBA in Finance. She works as a police officer with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office where she loves the challenge of building bridges with the community while working in the most violent part of the city. Jean is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer. She fell in love with CrossFit six years ago and thrives on seeing new athletes find that same love as they learn what their bodies are capable of. Jean is married to a US Marine, and they have four dogs who think they run the house. Her hobbies include working out, going to the beach, and trying to read while her pups lay on her books and beg for attention.

That moment when a movement finally clicks and it all comes together is magical for me. As an athlete, I love it, but as a coach it’s even more rewarding to help an athlete reach that “AHA!” moment!
