Olympic Lifting is one of the fundamental modalities in CrossFit. At Tailwinds, we devote an entire class once a week to learning the proper technique of both the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. Each class is structured around these two lifts, from proper technique to developing the strength to perform multiple repetitions safely and efficiently. Whether you are looking to PR a bodyweight Snatch, or cycle clean & jerks faster in a WOD, this class is for you! Coach Sean, a CF-L2 and Olympic Weightlifter, works with our members on improving their technique to accomplish their Olympic Lifting goals through skills and drills that help athletes become more efficient in our CrossFit classes. It is the continuous practice of the basics that are broken down segmentally that will allow us to become more powerful, stronger, efficient and effective in our workouts and lifts.
