Gymnastics is one of the fundamental modalities in CrossFit. At Tailwinds, we devote an entire class, once a week, to learning the various movements and skills that gymnastics has to offer. Each class is structured around learning a particular movement, from proper technique, to developing the strength to perform multiple repetitions safely and efficiently. Whether you are looking for your first muscle-up, or hoping to string together a set of 10 pull-ups, this class is for you! Coach Amy, a former University of Florida Gymnast, works with our members on improving their skills to accomplish their gymnastic goals through skills and drills that help athletes practice to become more efficient in our CrossFit classes. It is the repetitious practice of the skill broken down into parts that helps us to become more efficient and effective in our workouts. Benefits of Our CrossFit Gymnastics Program:
